Pinot Noir MV6 Clone
MV stands for Mother Vine, the original vines were propagated from cuttings from the famed Clos Vougeot vineyard in France's Burgundy region.
Harvested by hand, grapes were destemmed and placed into open fermenters. Cold-soaked for 48 hours and gently hand plunged 2-3 times a day on skins for 28 days in before pressing to 25% new French Oak & seasoned oak barrels for maturation and malolactic fermentation.

The bright red fruit flavours, and fresh acidity of the 2023 Colour Series Pinot Noir MV6 allows it to easily compliment meals that also have an element of freshness, either in the form of acidity of fresh herbs. Tomato based seafood stews, aromatic green sauces/salsas are just a couple of examples that match this wines freshness without overpowering. Because of the subtle oak character and tannins in this wine, it will also be fantastic with savoury flavours, like duck, pork, roasted mushrooms and eggplant.
